Sorry never used them but what did you expect from a $30 pair of fogs that are multi color... those kind of lights are usually prone to fail right away

You just said you were having issues with it... my guess is it's just poor soldering inside is why that heated up and is causing you issues now, where it cant change or whatever else the issues are you are having. Or there is an issue with whatever controler you have where it lost the sync feature.
