Default Bulbs for Anzo Switchbacks

Hello all,

I intalled Anzo switchbacks on my 15 XLT a couple months back. Now im converting all of the rest of my lights over to LED and want to do the highs and lows as well. I don't need LED's necessarily if there are some good HIDs out there but I really want to improve the look and output of the stock bulbs.

I need help from this band of misfits to see if anyone else has advice on what bulbs work with the Anzos. Need a lot of help here, HID or LED? Do I need CANBUS? Will they fit in the housing or do I need dust cover, if so where do I get a dust cover?

Please help!!!

Thanks

That sucks you didn’t do it when you picked up the light assembly, looking at picking up some switchbacks myself. I understand the complaints about stock low beam but my high beam is money. How do you like the Anzo’s?

How long did it take for you to throw those light assembly’s in?

Yeah, I see now that Stage 3 has the whole kit for them. I ordered from elsewhere and saved a few bucks, but they didn't offer the LED kit. Looks like plenty of people are upgrading I'm just having a hard time pinning down a set that will work no questions asked.

I love the Anzos. They look amazing and I get tons of compliments on them. They were my very first mod, so it look me a minute to get a feel for the truck, but only about an hour and a half maybe two hours max.

i used this for lows http://www.opt-7.com/blitz-55w-xenon-hid-kit/ in 5000k and this for highs http://www.opt-7.com/fluxbeam-core-led-fog-light-kit/ in my anzos. output is perfect on both and i aimed them just right as to not be annoying but still provide plenty of light

Which LED kit did you end up going with off of stage 3 website? I just got my Anzo lights too looking for an upgraded bulb since I keep hearing how dull the originals are

The bulbs you put in high beams are sold as "fog lights". How do they actually perform as high beams? Can you see far down to road? Or is the light more scattered.

Also how is the fitment into the high beam location on the anzo? Does the dust cap still fit on?
