Best LED replacement for halogen headlights?
Looking to replace the halogen headlights on my 2017 F-150 XL with LEDs. Definitely need something that requires zero modifications to install, including messing with the dust covers.
Ive seen Diode Dynamics has been recommended in here but curious if there is anything else?

If you want LED headlights you should buy a Lariat or above with 502a package.
Stuffing LEDs into a halogen housing only serves to blind most everyone else on the road you drive on.
If better lighting is what you're looking for why not look at a good set of PIAA halogen bulbs.

The OEM housings will work fine with LED's, halogen, HID's, and even a carbon arc light source. The only need is to size and place the element/light source according to the reflector design.
"Stuffing LEDs into a halogen housing only serves to blind most everyone else on the road you drive on." is simply not true. Mismatched or poorly made light sources yes, but the size and placement of LED chips has improved a lot over the least few years essentially duplicating the specification of the OEM halogen light bulbs. The illumination source has to be in the focus point of the reflector.
My son has DD SL1's in his 2019 using the OEM dust covers no other mods needed, I use Headlight Revolution sold Supernova V3 in my 2017, fit under OEM caps but I did later change to deep Tomall caps, no other mods, and aimed them properly. The trouble with Amazon and other inexpensive sources is the quality simply does not compare nor the service supplied. KM

I really wish the laws would adjust so LEDs could not be made to fit into halogen housings.
an upgrade from halogens is necessary in my book if I end up with a car without LEDs standard. Ya, I know, should have got a car with them standard. Oh well

"Everytime I see LEDs in halogen housings I immediately think douchebag!"
My only question is how do you know those are LED's? Did you stop them and ask? Do you know white and blue lights are available in 55 to 70 watt halogens which are brighter. Or assume miss aimed lights are LED's? I have not been flased in 3 years of use. I have driven into the lights on both truck I mentioned. No powerful glare, or "douchebag". Miss aligned lights, poorly designed lights, and lifted trucks cause most of the trouble but not the source of the light. KM

LEDs, if high quality, installed correctly, and a thin, similar shape to halogens, are actually fine in the halogen housings.
HID's are a no-go though. I've never seen anything that says/shows otherwise.
I think the vast majority of time, blinding headlights are caused by people that literally have zero clue that their headlight heights can be adjusted
