I'm sure this has been asked 100 times, but I cant find the answer I am looking for
I have a 2018 XLT. I am perfectly happy with the light output from the stock lights. BUT....
I really like the look of the LED strip DRL around the housing on the Limited trucks.
Does anyone offer a Halogen headlight with the LED strip? I would really like the LED in amber if possible
From my understanding I cannot use OEM KR or Limited lights, is that correct?
Today I finally got around to ripping them out and putting my stock halogen clear headlights back in (2019 XLT sport). The LED strip DRL is not amber as shown in their pics..it's white and it does not dim when the headlights come on (illegal).
Also, my left blinker got out of sync and double flashed most of the time. I got hyper flash in the cab, too. The DRL's stopped working a few weeks ago and, in addition to feeling guilty about buying them (total ripoff of fords design) it was time to get rid of them.
I DISCOVERED THAT THE DRL HARNESS HAD COME APART AND STARTED BURNING THROUGH A PART OF FACTORY HARNESS (split lomb). THANK GOD IT DIDN'T START A FIRE.
How long have you had the Vland? Also where is this connection, is this the subharness that is on each headlight?
