Default Additional led reverse lights switch wiring

I've been searching and searching but cannot find the diagram(s) that i remember seeing online that showed how to wire up the auxiliary reverse lights into the factory reverse lights but also have a switch in the cab to turn on when you need them, not just when put in reverse. Does anyone have this diagram/schematic handy?

I recently installed a set of Rigid Industries Backup Lights, they come in a set of two, flush or surface mounts with brackets, relay, wiring harness and on/off/auto switch. If you tap into your trailer harness you will get indication your connected to trailer on late model Fords. I avoided that and tied into reverse light. They should have an installation sheet online, if you need directions. Nice lights, nice wiring relay setup. I installed red button switch on dash, dimmer plate.

I don't think that's true if you power the lights through a relay and just use the trailer harness for the relay trigger. That's how I did it in my 2011 with no issues.
