Here is a pic with the truck off. As far as the DRL's, they dim when you turn off the truck in the delay period before they turn off, If you park the truck and it's on - if you have just the parking lights they stay full brightness then turn off and all you're left with is the amber parking light which is mostly visible from the sides (looks similar to the size of a stock amber bicycle reflector). I can attest to the high pitch whine on FM stations. If you don't have a strong FM signal the LED's create this noise which is highly annoying. The downsides to these lights don't come anywhere close to offsetting the pros, they look amazing and I can see so much better at night, it's not even close.

I've ordered mine, along with the smoked tail lights.

Default Installed-- quick review

I installed mine today on my 2018. It was easy and I did it in about 2 hours. The fender flares gave me trouble not wanting to come off.

The headlights look great. I can't wait to try them at night. I have 2 small issues with them. The wires are a bit messy. They could have done better. The other issue is how low they were aimed out of the box. WAY LOW. I maxed out the passenger light to get it near wear my OEM lights were aimed.

I used the wiretap for the DRL. They are bright and then dim when the lights are turned on. It is not instant and happens within a few seconds.

I also installed the Morimoto XB fog lights. Pain in butt. Save yourself some trouble and pop the old ones out from the front. Be careful to not to rough up the trim. There is a Youtube video of it.

Did you have to reverse the connections some were doing in order to get the cbar to dim? I think that was for pre 2018s but curious if you had issues. I ordered the fogs as well. Do you mind posting the youtube link? Did you buy directly from TRS? I was told that the 2018s are just now shipping. Thanks.

I didn't have to change a thing. Mine were pre-orders from TRS that shipped out Friday and I got them yesterday.

Well Hell. Amazing at night but.... the passenger turn signal sometimes gives a lamp out hyper flash. TRS is telling me to bypass the capacitor so I get take the front of the truck off for troubleshooting.

Anyone else having any issue like this?

I suppose I could Forscan it away but I'm disappointed with a $1500 headlight that wasn't supposed to do that.
