2018 Morimoto XB Headlights not aligned?
#31
I don’t think it’s so much an 18’ issue as it is simply a quality issue. My corners are fine but my top strips are noticeably dimmer than the bottoms. I just think these lights need to be assembled with an attention to detail to keep the LED’s consistent, and they’re not.

That is definitely a quality issue. I just got my 4th passengerside headlight now from them. I am hoping this one is good to go.. TRS has been great with working with me and said that all lights now have to go through a QC process before they release them to customers. Its a shame as these headlights in proper condition are the best looking ones on the market imo. I havent seen many driver side headlights messed up.. Mainly passenger side. I would definitely get a replacement. .

That’s exactly how mine looked. Here’s what they told me and I’ll attach the image they sent me
For the gap you circled, that's actually not a dead LED but an optical illusion due to the clear mount or the board. Ive attached a photo to this email showing the mount from the inside of the headlight so you can see how the boards and standoff line up.
Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.
