Default 2018 headlights

Been looking at the Morimoto headlight for my 2018 xlt se. I was wondering if there was a way to get the amber daytime running light like the raptors? Or if there’s a different set of headlights that have this feature? Any info is much appreciated.

That's a "Raptor" only feature. Raptors have the same footprint as 2015-2017 lights. So only 2015-2017 owners can get that. Morimotos 2018+ don't have that same amber DRL feature.

i think you can do this with Forscan .. i've done it by accident .. there are also a couple posts on doing this .. i've done it with Anzo's and people have done it with stock LED's .. i don't know if anyone has done it with morimotos but you could always test it

No you cannot doug... Morimoto does not build into the non-Raptor versions the amber outline. It's ONLY in the Raptor versions. With that said the "Raptor" versions are available in the 2015-2017 trucks, halogen and OEM sooo ya know You can just buy the "Raptor" versions of the Morimotos and you are good to go.

No you cannot. That's not a part of the 2018 design with Morimoto. Only the 2017+ Raptor headlights (which are the same size as the 2015-2017 F150 headlights) have the amber surround feature

You can do this feature with Alpha Rex headlights. They show you how on their website as a tutorial.

Alpharex are different then the Morimotos. It all depends if the AlphaRex has an amber surround or not.
