I've got it set up for my boat trailer but seldom use it, old habits.

I have it. Set it up as best as I could. I’m towing a travel trailer. Because of the propane tanks and the various steel plates welded together to make the trailer tongue the sticker doesn’t lie perfectly flat. When I set it up I tried it in the parking lot and it seemed to work fine. The first time I tried it in a campground it failed. The system just shuts off and a warning comes on in the instrument cluster to take over manual steering control. Because the truck is in reverse the backup alarms are already going off I don’t know if it has an audible warning. I’m to busy looking in mirrors to read the instrument cluster warning but quickly realized the system wasn't responding. Tried it multiple times. I just don’t trust it. It worked in the parking lot. Maybe the camera isn’t seeing enough of the sticker I don’t know. Seems like a good idea but I can’t get mine to work reliably without jumping through some hoops.

The camera needs see the slicker, I suspect it is like mine and the jack will block it one way, but should be ok the other. I am thinking about trying a 2nd sticker with 2 setups, then cover whichever sticker will be blocked and choose the proper setup

I think it will be confused when it can see both. You have to enter specific distances to the sticker from the camera. Those distances will differ between the two stickers. Even if they're exactly the same because they're placed symmetrically, they'll be on opposite sides. The controller won't be able to distinguish one from the other and may back your trailer into a ditch.

My use is on a travel trailer. The majority (not all) of the time I'm parking the trailer in a camping space, it's to the right of the driver. I'll put the sticker on that side in hopes that it will be blocked less frequently, if backing in to the right. Maybe I'll get some use out of it that way and maybe I'll decide it's actually helpful. Right now I can't do either.

Edited by strikeout. Didn't notice the plan to cover one at a time. The system will still be confused, I think.

If I do this it will have a separate setup for each sticker, so the system should be fine if I can keep it straight.
