I appreciate this as I do like all the customer oriented help guides and all the products you stock.

I was very disappointed with the way the mirrors came though. As I said, the box wasn't doubled boxed and no bubble wrap of any kind. The mirrors themselves had no packing material, as the mirrors were simply placed in their Tyvek like holding bag with no other materials to protect them. Luckily, even with the box destroyed, the mirrors were in perfect shape.

As I said, I truly didn't trust having a $700, 110 lbs item shipped, if this was done on a light weight $55 item.

I would like to have confidence to use your store again.

The scratching is a very common thing as I found this out at rv.net from other **** Custom Tow mirror owners having the same problems.
Maybe its the ones I have then. The wedge has foam padding and when screwed down tight there is a slight gap between the shell and the mirror housing. I used these on a black truck with painted caps, so any scratches would have shown right away. Maybe I just got lucky with them.

I think these are pretty new products (I looked a few months ago with no luck) but I found https://www.hitchweb.com/product/88/...Ford-F150-Pair for the ***** that afaik are the only one that will work with my 2016 Lariat mirrors.

Correction: the K-source will too but I haven't located a Canadian retailer. (They are actually so new the product code the eTrailer guy linked to aren't in the K-source database.)

I use the Longview slip-on extension mirrors on my '13 Super Crew. They fit well and do not vibrate. While they don't offer the field of view of the Ford towing mirrors, I have good luck with them for my occasional towing use. They are also offered for the 2015+s, as shown in etrailerTeam's links. The only negative aspect of them is that they cover over the turn signal leds on the factory mirrors.

I just wish Ford had not redesigned the mirrors. I found the mirrors on the 14 gave me a better view, and no distortion. The ones on my 16 are distorted where the autodim line is, so I had to move them in a bit more than I would like in order to see clearly. I also miss the blind spots that were on them. They were wider than tall, and even without tow mirrors they were still useful with the TT attached.

I'm in canada and I have a set of K-source clip ons.

Work nicely, I got them from E-Trailer.

I just paid the exchange and shipping.

Worth it.

I just received my set of K-Source clip-ons. Got them via amazon.ca for CDN$99.16 (taxes in, free shipping). Took less than a week.

They are a very snug fit and required a fair amount of oomph to get them on -- but the truck was at -10C when I installed them so it may be easier in the summer. They don't move/rattle and do not seem to be marking my Lariat's mirrors. They don't look bad even though they are all black. They have spaces for all the lights of my OEM mirrors.

They also come with a nice storage bag so they won't get scratched up if you store them in your trailer.

Seeing all the complaints here about visibility on the new side mirrors is part of why I bought mine with the tow mirrors.

It's amazing how things change, the more they stay the same. I remember commenting to my father when he leased his new 04 F150 how the rectangular mirrors made a huge difference in almost completely eliminating blind spots. Now it's back to square, small and praying that the flashlight is right.
Do the new mirrors even have the concave mirror embedded any more?

Mine have BLIS, so no convex. I miss those too. I could tow my TT with those mirrors alone, but having the **** mirrors helped a lot.
Are there tow mirrors with BLIS and side spots? My mirrors are the fancy ones with the spots and BLIS.

Also from Canada here and had been looking for tow mirrors online for my 2016 screw. I was quite surprised when i walked into my local Canadian Tire and found a set of clip ons for 2015-16 models. They retail for 79.99 and i am pleasantly surprised at how good they are. The clip on nice and snug and compliment the regular and convex mirrors quite nicely. They have a clear plastic lens on the front facing side for the turn signal in the oem mirrors, which give them a very stock look when looking at the truck from the front. Not sure if they work with the bliss or not. As a nice little added bonus they even come with an drawstring pouch to store them in when not being used. I cant remember the brand name but can check when i get home from work and post it for anybody wishing to check them out.
