I have absolutely no use for a sunroof (moonroof?), but often the vehicle/trim I want includes the sunroof as standard equipment. 1988 Audi 5000S, 2005 Honda Odyssey EX-L, 2009 Honda Odyssey EX-L, 2017 Toyota Highlander XLE. On a 2018 F-150, the twin panel moonroof is optional on Lariat 501A and 502A. So if I order a 2018, I'll simply not order the moonroof.

Yup. 2 year old truck, CPO, no sunroof, and it only had 7k-something miles and a solid payload. We were happy to find it--it ticked all the boxes that we needed.

WOOT!! They must have had a glitch in the B&P page because now I CAN build a 502a without the sunroof! Good to know when I go to order in 2019. Just checked and the 601a King Ranch is also the same. I am considering a 2019 or 2020 KR 601a.

Nah, Ford will probably change the Order Guide for the 2018.5 F-150.

Boo. Hiss. Grumble.

I was at the dealer today to get new tires and alignment done(Hopefully this resolves my steering dilemma) and found not one, but two truck in Magma Red. At first I thought it was a MR and a Black, then saw the sparkle and though, nope, thats not black. It looks like Kodiak Brown but with more red in it. I sure hope that color is around for 2019.

Mine payloads out at something like 1940 lbs. just get the right F150 and you’ll be fine.

1900 is tough if you need a screw and want some features. Well, impossible really. You need to sacrifice some decent features and go HDPP or stick with a reg/scab.

I have a 2014 with 1539 lbs payload and even with my 5500 lb trailer, I think I am pushing it once I put me, my wife, the baby, and a generator in the truck.
