Judging by the picture of your WDH, it looks somewhat homemade, as in someone cut it and then welded it back on the the shaft. I would strongly consider just buying a new WD head (you already have good bars) so no need to buy the entire new WD hitch.

^^^^Exactly, I recently did just that. I needed to set up a hitch for a second truck to pull my TT. I ordered a head and shank from eTrailer and am using my old spring bars....A new head and shank would let the OP not only adjust his ball height, but the angle of his head to fine tune his WDH.
