Turn your hitch over. No need to spend money. I have a 4X4 F150 and a 4X4 Tacoma. I use the top hitch to lower the ball when towing with the taller Ford and the bottom hitch when towing with the Tacoma to raise the ball to the correct height. I could use the same one, but I'd have to remove the ball and flip it every time

Would someone with WD hitch experience explain to me why the pricing on the above link seems bass-ackward? The heavier the rating, the cheaper the cost.

High demand and production numbers can impact price.

So I've been looking at getting a riser ball, but so far I haven't found any that match my existing ball. The existing ball is 2 5/16. If I'm measuring the shaft correctly, it is only 1", but all of the ***** with a rise are at least 1 1/4". Am I just sucking at Google search? Existing ball is only rated for 6000lbs so I don't need anything extreme as far as strength.

I'm gonna reiterate and suggest you read what I posted earlier. Before you do any riser or anything, do that.

Could always airbag the rear. Or just lift it. Couple of inches would do. I have a 1" and 2" rear lift sitting in my shed. Pay shipping and you can have one of them. My truck came with an inch of rear lift. I just did a 4 inch RC lift on my truck, but the 2 inch rear block would have made my rear sit slightly lower than the front. So I picked up a 3 inch block.

1 inch kit was on my truck for at least 3 years, but it's a Florida truck. 2 inch kit is new, never installed. PM me if you want one and we can figure out shipping cost.

When jacked all the way up, the tongue of the camper will sit about a foot above the the ball. I can't imagine that's what you actually intend to happen?

You're not understanding what I'm saying.

Hitch up the camper to the receiver. Lock onto the receiver. Then, jack the trailer almost all the way up. This will lift the truck up with it. THEN put the bars on, then lower the jack.
