Trailer brake controller...

I have an 08 f150 stx with the factory tow package and was wondering if I had a trailer brake controller from the factory. The newer f150s have a slider adjuster but I dont see one of those on mine. Do I need to buy one or is there one installed from the factory? If not are they hard to install?

Do a search for factory brake controller on this forum. There is a thread that gives all the info you need. And it mounts directly in the dash if I'm not mistaken. And it's simple plug and play after you take it to the dealer for the update to the computer. And it's all factory.

I highly doubt you have one. I bought the factory connector with mine and it was plug and play. Really easy. Just had to screw in the mounting screws for the holder. The connection should be above the brake up just a little. No hard wiring needed.
I wanted to do this for a while now.
