I have a 2021 3.5 eco boost, 3.31 gears, crew cab, 4wd, and the tow tech package. I have a camper that weights 6k pounds dry. I plan on installing a RAS suspension in the next couple days. I was wondering is someone has this same set up. On the ford website it shows that the max towing is 7k.

Just me but I would never tow a 6K# dry weight trailer with an f150. You are going to be pushing 7K once it is loaded and your tongue weight will be close to 1000#. Out of curiosity, what is your payload rating on your truck? That will be the thing that limits you. Also, the 3.31 gears are not going to be great.
Just so you know, anything you add to the truck, like your RAS suspension, lowers the payload by the weight of the item you are adding.

I am not familiar with the "tow tech package" Is the truck a power boost? If not please clarify.
In addition to the truck payload what is the overall length of the camper and the wheelbase of the truck? Length is a large factor do to wind, not real easy to set a safe limit but my prior TT at 37' long was not safe on a half ton that is well equipped for towing, My current TT is 32' overall and is marginal but workable

It’s 28ft total length. Not a power boost. Truck has the short bed and I live in Louisiana so not many hills. I don’t know exactly what the tech package is. I’ve pulled this camper with my 2018 Silverado with the 5.3 and 3.42 gears and never had a problem. I’m just confused why the towing capacity is so low.
I’d find your trucks payload on the yellow sticker on the door and get your wet tongue weight, cargo going in the truck, passengers, any accessories you added on the truck and make you’re you’re within your limits.
Hmm interesting. You mentioned you have the Tow tech package, do you know what code that is? Reason I ask is because I saw this disclaimer on the towing chart at the bottom.
Do not exceed a trailer weight of 7,000 lbs. (3,175 kg) or 36 sq. ft. (3.4 sq. m) trailer frontal area with only the Class IV hitch (53B), without the Trailer Tow Package (53A)
I don’t see that potentially pertaining unless for some reason the tow tech package does not include something that the standard tow package (53A) has.

You will be fine. The frontal area of the trailer will dictate a lot of how it tows, and you'll want to stay off the Interstates. Ditch your plan to modify the suspension. You can always add a WDH for added security.

No matter what, he will have to use a WDH. Payload will be his issue.
LOL...stay off the interstates? How do you go anywhere without going on the interstate?
