Tow transmission
At 190k on my 2009 f150 I think it’s time for a new transmission. It’s having shift issues and I can feel it slip on occasion. The truck has pulled a 31’ camper and my 16’ utility trailer from day 1. I have no complaints. Is there a company out there that builds or rebuilds the 6R80 with heavier duty parts for towing purposes?

Why would the truck with double the sales of their nearest competitor have HD transmission rebuild options? Or the most popular Ford sports coupe?

Youo got to 190k on the transmission, just 100k more will put you near 300k on the truck. Do you need a heavy duty rebuild?
