Shocks?
I have Sumo Springs on my truck. Love them! I have a 157" wheelbase truck and a heavy payload rating on my front end. 4010 lbs LOL.... I believe this really helps with my stability.

payload rating on my front end. 4010 lbs
Mr. Simnut, sir... are you messin' with us? That would be the front axle's GAWR.

A Payload Package is the factory-spec'd maximum allowable weight of the loaded truck. A payload rating is the result of the truck's [Edit: Payload Package minus it's factory curb weight].

yeah, he has a GAWR of 4010, just got them mixed up I guess. He does have an oddball truck through with a 4010 FGAWR, usually they are 3750 or so.

Cruise/speed control when towing isn't a good idea except perhaps on long, windless stretches of flat ground. Were you using Tow/Haul mode?

Otherwise, select M for manual, Tow/Haul (for earlier torque converter lockup) and shift manually using the +/- toggle on the shift lever; this way your truck won't "hunt" gears.

The farther away we get from using 3-pedal, H-pattern manual transmissions, the more M for "manual" will be a mystery for a lot of new drivers.

You can use the +- in drive also to lock out gears. I do this on my 2017 2.7 EB all the time. KM

When in drive, you can lock out as many of the top gears you want. If I want to drive around in 2nd all day, I lock out down to 2nd. It will now start out in 1st, shift to 2nd and that's your "top" gear. When in manual, YOU have to do the plusing and minusing of the gears all the way through.
