I pulled a stump out yesterday in 4 low and a couple of time during some tugs the tires didn't spin and the truck didn't move. My question is what is going on there? Is the tranny slipping? does the truck not have the power? what was happening? I see other trucks do it on youtube when they pull stumps just makes me wonder what was moving in there? I have an auto 5.4 was in 4x4 low

 

What RPMs were you turning. If your over 1200 to 1400, you may want to check the tranny. Are you sure you did not have any tires turning?

 

Pretty sure. I don't think it was high at all I think under 1200 ish Idk I was going really slow in 4 low
