What do you guys recommend for setting the space between the spring on the Roadmaster Active Suspension

Do you own a RAS kit? Have you installed it? but not read the instruction sheet? They give you two discs to measure the recommended preload of either 1mm or 2mm. I called them requesting their unpublished, absolute minimum preload and was told "0.6mm". I did not want any increase in static ride height, but got a 1/2" increase.
