Ignore color changes, unless its rust or water. Inspect , repack, retorque every yr or 12,000 miles is what most makers says.
thank you for the link. I noticed 2 things...1 is they don’t specify a brand just qualification the grease needs to meet so I will continue to lucas red n tacky, and 2 is I need to find the grease point Mentioned for the bushing.

Also there is no rust or water in the hubs, just makes me question why and how this happened in a years time.

I use Lucas red n tacky, always happy with it.
