Default Recommended Place to Buy OEM Trailer Brake Controller

Good evening all,

I bought what was supposed to be a genuine ford integrated brake controller for my 2015 F150 off Amazon, but it seems that even after activating it in forscan I have no trailer brake response with the pedal even though they work when I squeeze the controller. I also have the battery drain issue followed with the "Brake Controller Module Fault" message after jumping.

So clearly I got a knockoff Chinese part anyway, despite spending around $200 for it.
The dealership wants $380 plus tax for a integrated brake controller, but I was wondering if anyone here knew a good reputable place to purchase them online and maybe save a few bucks? Or is this a "buy once, cry once" type deal?
Thanks in advance.

Ebay has several Ford dealerships selling parts. Although I've not bought a brake controller, I have bought other parts from this guy, and they were OEM.

You'll need to have a dealer program it as well.

So really, suck up the extra dollars and get them to do the entire job

You can also use Forscan and program it yourself.

Fairway ford has been recommended by many. I would avoid Amazon or eBay unless it’s from a verified Ford dealer.
