Rear sway bar

A Hellwig Big Wig will not reduce sway at all. If there is true sway then anti-sway bars will help. In some cases the problem is not enough load support by the springs and this makes the shocks work overtime and best to fix the problem at the source. I did notice that the Big Wig rear anti-roll bar did greatly improve the ride when the bed was empty and not towing a trailer. The wheel hop from hitting a bump or dip, in particular when making a turn, was greatly reduced as a good portion of the impact was transferred to the opposite wheel.

I did pick up load E range tires this last Friday so hopefully that will help! I bought rear shocks but they were the wrong ones so I'll have to see after the return on those but hopefully the shocks and tires will be the fix.

Things I do (or have done to past trucks) to improve towing performance. My '17 has 1-3 done, 4-5 when the old ones wear out. I think all are mentioned somewhere above.
1. Keep the TT slightly nose down.
2. Return the front axle weight to 100%. Use a scale, not measured at the fender.
3. SumoSpring Solo. Similar to Timbrens.
4. Bilstein 5100's
5. Load E tires aired to 45-50 lbs. You won't be heavy enough to need more than 50 in a half ton. Unloaded air to 35 or whatever your door sticker says.
