That's a great illustration and got me to set up a table. I'm not sure how my truck can get a 7600 tow rating when it seems that would likely put it over the 12800 GCWR. My Truck has a GVWR of 6500, Payload room of 1545, leaving the truck weighing 4955.

Here's the spreadsheet, looks to exceed GCWR when towing more than about 6800. for my calculations I used 12.5% tongue weight.

It looks you are double counting the hitch weight in your GCWR limit calculation. The hitch weight subtracts from payload in the GVWR, but it's already included in the towing weight that's part of the GCWR. So, instead of M=I-E-F-G, use M=I-E-G. It also looks like you have F as 15% of E, not 12.5%.

Here's the graph for your truck assuming a 12.5% tongue weight:

The max tow rating crosses the GCWR limit at 245 lbs of payload. The GCWR and GVWR limits cross at 645 lbs.

I follow you on the Hitch Weight now and I had run 12.5% & 15% and was wrong about which screenshot I grabbed. Thanks for the graph!
