How much can my F150 tow?

Figure 13% of the trailers GVWR for tongue weight then add 100 lbs for a Weight Distribution Hitch. A 7000 lb trailer will put 910 lbs on the tongue + 100 lbs for the WDH. That is a little over 1000 lbs tongue weight.
While the truck is probably rated to tow 10,000 lbs +, a 10,000 lb trailer would put 1400 lbs on your tongue and only leave you 200-400 lbs for passengers and cargo in the truck.

What is the body configuration?
Mine is a crew cab with the shortest bed. That puts the rating at 12,700 lbs.
As others on here will tell you though, the yellow payload sticker on your door jamb will enlighten you regarding the difficulty in actually towing that weight with passengers and gear in the truck. The actual max number on my truck works out to around 10,000 lbs, but even that isn't overly feasible for most trailers. 8,000 lbs is closer to it's true towing capacity once passengers, gear, and proper tongue weight are included in the calculation.
In short, there are a ton of factors and your research will need to include the payload capacity, trailer tongue weight, trailer frontal area, passengers, and cargo.

Even when I think I’m pretty well knowledgeable on towing basics I still like to double check myself. A 7000 pound camper = aprox. 1000 lbs of TW . That alone is starting to push the max rating on the receiver itself correct? I think mine is rated at 1125 with WDH or close to that without looking, which would limit a travel trailer to around 7000-7500 max (in my case, I think the max tow may have a little higher hitch rating?) in the case my payload is 1900lbs I would run out of receiver rating before payload
With the heaviest receiver Ford sells on some F-150s, max tongue weight with WDH is 1,320 as you noted. Subtract 100 pounds for the heaviest WDH and you're at 1,220. 1,220 / .13 = 9,385 pounds loaded trailer.
