I did SumoSprings first. My unloaded ride on factory shocks is fine.

I just got back after about 1200 miles of towing my 6500 lb TT through the mountains of Colorado, and the stock tune on my '16 3.5EB when using the towing mode felt "telepathic", too. I'm not saying 5*Star isn't good, but in my opinion the stock tune is perfectly fine, and there are better places to put the money. I've got the Bilsteins, for example.

If you want to make your TT experience better, I spoiled myself with one of these things and it's made setting up camp a LOT faster, since I'm usually doing it alone and need to level the trailer at least a few inches to either side:

This is kinda nice to have, too:

All sorts of toys for the TT....

I replaced the OEM with Bilstein 4600 in the rear of my 2017 SCab and what a difference. I would go with the shocks, I dont think you are going to be disappointed

I'd spend $10 and run that trailer across a CAT scale. 7,000 pounds for a 32 foot trailer would be quite rare.

If nothing stands out as needing improvement on the truck I wouldn't spend money there. There is certainly no area that I would spend money on to improve the towing performance of my truck at this point. I do have a set of Sumo's and the HDPP. I like the Sumo's because they are not engaging when running light.

I don't know if this suggestion is of interest to you, but In my case I'd put solar on the camper before touching the truck... to each their own.

In my opinion the TV should be ready to tow and the handle weight required as comes from the factory without addons (Not including a WDH). Maybe you have the wrong TV?

It tows it fine. But could be better. I mean it's a truck and upgrading is what many people do to trucks. I see people adding on to f350 duallies and they're towing 1/3rd their capacity.

I’d go with bilesteins or a rear sway bar, the sway bar helps handling a bit even in town as long as you don’t do a lot of off roading it seemed to make more of a difference than the shocks on my 17 towing a similar trailer in a windy area.
