Default Don't do that method of towing instruction

Please watch this instructional video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RvzVCU1wIo

1.
Don't drive a sway prone combination on the highway
2. Don't forget to use safety chains after forgetting to close the coupler
3. Don't load your cargo behind the trailer axles
4. Don't tow your travel trailer in high winds, even if you have a dually
5. Don't pass tractor tailors in the right lain with your crossover while speeding and pulling a single axle travel trailer.
6. Don't pull your low rider with your low rider
7. Few people seem to be able to set up short wheel base vehicles to tow long travel trailers well, this guy isn't one of them. You're probably not either, so don't do it
8. Don't crash so far away from the camera
9. Don't load all your stuff on the back bumper of your travel trailer - even if you have a super duty!

Have a nice day!

Thanks for putting that up. It's a good reminder of what can happen if we're not being prudent and safety minded.

I don't know what possesses people to drive so fast while towing heavy. Trailer tires are rated at 65 MPH, you are just pushing your luck driving 80 with them. Today I saw a small SUV towing a popup with those tiny 12" wheels, and they were doing 80. I remember way back when my dad had a small trailer with those wheels and we were stuck on the side of the highway while he and my neighbor were trying to cut the burned up bearings off the spindle. Those poor little wheels were spinning like mad on that trailer.

That boat coming off, that trailer just sat there and spun in circles, it was...interesting. The driver that got hit by it was lucky that the tongue didn't go through the windshield.
