Default Cannot get brake output to increase, need help

Hello,

I can’t my trailer Brake output to increase!
i have adjusted all the settings under the trailer setup (low, medium, hard) and no matter how hard I depress the brake and adjust the gain output I can only get one bar!
if I squeeze the brake controller the gauge will fill completely up!
i have a 2019 F150 Lariat Ecoboost with two package and integrated brake controller
the trailer is a 2018 forest river single axel electric brake 18ft RV
at a loss.

how fast are you going when you are slamming the brakes?
Have you read the owner's manual?

What he said above about speed. Below 11 MPH you won't get as much output when braking. Above 20MPH if you hit the hooks hard enough to get the trucks ABS to kick in you should have full bars on the output graph.

I tried it at 30 mph at 10 gain and got 2 bars

On my 2015 with factory brake control I adjust the gain slowly up then squeeze the manual control on the brake controller at speed of 25 mph. Until the trailer brakes almost lock up when the manual is fully squeezed. After that the truck is going to adjust the brake effort. In other words you won't be able really feel a hard brake effort from the trailer because of the integrated control. I guess if set your gain to max and the manual control lever will lock up the trailers, then you could go out and lock up the truck brakes and see if the trailer will lock up. The integrated controller has a very different feel than add on brake control does. I've had both.

Just to clarify:
On High + 10 Gain at 30 mph with enough brake to lock the trucks wheels and cause the ABS to start cycling the controller only showed 2 bars?

I have no clue.
