Bug Out Prep
Well fire season is pretty rough up here this year, gassed up truck, filled jerry can, bought a new water tank, my old one didn't fit well with the Superglide hitch.
Way things are going up here, Bug Out is on my mind, Our town is now on a fire watch, been falling ash for the last three days.
So, bought a poly ethelene artic cat ATV sprayer tank and got it all set up today, this gives us an extra 20 gallons on top of the trailers 30 gal.
Have battery mounted and a small 1 gpm pump for transfer over to the trailer.
Also have a 12 vlt transfer pump, so I can pump out of a lake or stream if needed.
Spare 20lb propane tanks fit nicely either side, have to fill another one tomorrow, BBq sits nicely between the rails on one side of hitch, jerry can fits on other side. cooler and stuff will fit nicely behind hitch.
Trailers watered up, just deciding what to throw in trailer
Hopeing this setup ends up just for camping, but if the fires shift, I'm Outa Here

Take your guns. You and I both know that during the High River floods the **** bag police were breaking into peoples houses and stealing their guns. They claim it was to prevent looters from stealing them so they stole them first. NOT ONE High River resident was ever compensated for their loss nor had their guns returned.
I'd be more worried about the cops looting your house than the fires burning it down. Your insurance will cover the house but the cops can kick in your front door, smash open your gun safe and steal anything they want and you will never see a dime for any of it.
100 houses looted by police, 600 guns stolen., zero compensation, no guns returned.

Off topic, but that sounds like rumer mongering. Why do you think it was police and not ordinary scumbag looters? Have any police officers been caught and convicted of this? Are the RCMP included in your definition of "police"?
Many Canadians are not gun friendly. I had to spend two hours at The Port Huron border crossing while the border police examined every cubic inch of my TT and tow vehicle. I admitted that I owned several guns, but had more sense than to try to bring any of them into Canada. But for some reason they couldn't believe that I didn't have at lest one bullet or gun with me. They were obviously disappointed when they couldn't find even one spent shell in my rig.
