Double Thanks for unlocking the mystery menu for trailer BLIS.

I have been extremely frustrated with the missing "on switch" for the Trailer BLIS since the day I picked up my 2018 XLS. I knew it was something simple, just couldn't find it! I actually had "resorted" to setting up a service appointment for next week to try to get this resolved. Planning a multi-thousand mile Airstream trip stratnig June, so really wanted this feature turned on.

I'm really glad I don't have to deal with the Dealership service Dept, at least not quite yet!

Thanks for saving me from hours of frustration! Had Blis working after I bought my 2018 XLT. Went to hook up my car trailer today, and Blis was off. No idea why. Looked everywhere!
Ford does some odd things, eh?

There is read up in the responses. Need to turn it on with 2 different tabs, 1-towing, 2 -settings

Been thru all those settings. It's my understanding the XL and XLT have different setting sub-menus. I read in my manual that the BLIS turns shows the icon of not on but it will still work. Ill test it today.

Thanks for the follow-up. It took awhile, but was able to set-up BLIS with Trailer thru similar menu drop downs in the Towing and Setting modules.

Hello, let me bring this back.

I have a 2017 Lariat.

I have the trailer setup and the blind spot distance setup.

as soon I connect my trailer, the BLISS turns off,

I can find the Trailer BLISS in Settings, but I cannot "check" the box.

On Towing Information says Trailer Blind Spot [Not Available]
