Alright, sorry to post a question right after joining but I can't figure this out.

I have a conventional trailer (6/12 x 10 bed), have set it up for my Backup assist, register it as conventional and all numbers entered. Trailer is 13 feet total so I enter 16 feet for the BLISS as I've read to add 3 feet.
When I use my trailer it tells me cross traffic and BLISS is disabled. I go into the Trailer settings to turn on BLISS and it tells me no conventional trailer stored. I deleted and recreated the trailer 3x and still the same thing.

My number are:
A = 11"
B = 16.5"
C = 41.5"
D = 119"
Trailer Length = 13' so use 16'

This is driving me nuts. Have a long trip with it in July and would like to have BLISS working as it's all highway driving. Anyone?

Is your F-150 at 2017 or 2018? Older BLIS will not work with trailer...

It's a 2018 and is supposed to work w/ a conventional trailer, which I selected when I set the trailer up.

Make sure when you connect the trailer that it's picked the right trailer profile, or switch to it.

Thanks I'll double check but I only have one trailer set up but will do so. I do know I've gone in and hit select trailer and pick my programmed trailer and it's still shows BLIS is off.

I had similar problems, my issue was that in the menu settings there is a master selection for BLIS when towing that needed to be turned on.

This isn't in the towing menu, I forget where right now, but trawl through the other menus and see if you can find it.

Once I turned that in my towing BLIS came on

I should have mentioned that I have a 2018 F150 XLT. Those with Lariat and Above have a different menu system. BLIS is only in the Towing section for an XLT and is enabled in the trailer setup area.

NCost, did you find a fix? I have an XLT also and having the same issue.

No I haven't had my trailer hooked up since. I'm wondering if it turns off if the truck isn't in Tow/Haul mode (transmission). I'll post once I get it figured out.

Same problem here so when I pick up my camper from shop I'll see if I can get it to work cause it didn't on my first tow.
