Adjustable Hitch
This may be a subjective topic but nevertheless good info from others and their experiences. I personally want one but don't need one yet and I've been holding out for a while. Lots of options but curious to know others input. I have looked at B&W, Y-GEN and a few others and they all do what they're intended for but at the end of the day it's down to $$ then looks.

It sounds like you're talking about a weight-carrying (WC) hitch - not an adjustable shank for a weight-distributing (WD) hitch. Just an adjustable shank with ball mount and ball. In that case, I'd look at B&W. Not cheap, but "best" never is. Almost $200 for a 2" shank with 3" rise/fall, to over $300 with 2" shank and 9" rise/fall. 2.5" and 3" shanks with various rise/fall specs for SuperDuty pickups also available for around the same price or a hair more.

You do realize that any tongue weight over 500 pounds requires a WD hitch? That's a travel or cargo trailer that grosses not more than about 3,850 pounds when wet and loaded on the road.

As much as I like those adjustable hitches, I found it just as easy, and far less expensive, to have two shanks in the tool box, and swap them as needed. Like you, I tow a couple dozen times per year and have two different trailers I use. When not in use, both live in the tool box out of the elements.
