The harness will be plugged into the back of the coin holder pocket or whatever that is to the lower right of the steering wheel. Sounds like you only need the controller if you already have the receptacle. You will also either have to take it to a dealership, or buy a OBD II setup and use FORScan to put power to that harness.

I'd been wondering which controller to buy, thanks guys for posting. Ordered from above link, and already on the way!

Please let us know how it turns out and if the wiring is right there behind the cubby hole. I have a 2019 Crew Cab with both receptacles. I occassionally tow a 12 ft. aluminum utility trailer but I would like the option to tow a 16 ft. car hauler trailer in case I need to haul my son-in-laws small Kubota loader tractor that is a hair too heavy for the aluminum trailer, or my dad's four place snowmobile trailer.

I did this to my 2016 XLT recently and the connector was plugged into the back of the little cubby thingy. I changed two items with FORscan and it was good to go.

Did the TBC installs turnout ok? Everything work like tit should?

My 2019 F150 does not have the factory installed hitch nor any of the factory towing packages? My 2019 F150 is an XLT Crew Cab SB 4x4 with 5.0 engine, It has a factory 4 pin connector at the rear bumper.
I'm thinking I need these 3 OEM parts, trailer brake controller(TBC), 7/4 pin receptacle (left of license plate) and the wire harness (replaces 4-pin section with 7-pin).
Does anyone know the part numbers for my 2019 truck?
Thanks
