Default A Work In Progress

Well, just traded in my 08 F150 FTX for an 08 F150 Lariat. It has twice the miles but I got it at about half the interest and dropped my payments down about $200. The old one just wasn't worth the money I was throwing at it. Got this bad boy used with 35x12.50R18 Toyo M/T Open Country Tires, 18" Moto Metal Wheels, Rancho QuckLift Struts, and a AFE Power Magnum Force Stage 2 Cool Air Intake. It is headed to the shop next week for a 2.5" level and procomp shocks. The retard who owned this truck before basically tried to jam 35" Tires on stock suspension. Tires are rubbing the **** out of the fenders. But that is an easy fix.

Why are you getting rid of the Rancho's? I like the truck with those beefy tires! Some trimming to the plastic should fix the rub. Well maybe.

35s with a level isn't dumb! With minor trimming it fits!

Keeping the ranchos. The rear is stock. I am replacing the rear shocks with procomps. There is no level on it right now. I think the quick lifts on there are only the 1" and they didn't pair them with the correct rear shocks. Going to throw on a 2.5" level in the front and an add a leaf in the rear to get it leveled and clearing the 35"s. That is just temporary until I have the funds to go with 7" lift and 38"s!

Oh gotcha. I've got the rancho quicklift setup coming in today with the correct rear shocks so I was trying to figure out if there was issues with them. Lol. And sweet! Can't wait till you get the funds!

I will get some better pics of it in the daylight before I take it to the shop. My driveway sits at an angle so it makes the truck appear leveled. Got to love optical illusions! Then I will take some after pics as well for comparison. She is going in for the work Wednesday morning and gets finished the same day. Should be able to post some pics in the evening.evening.

I have heard good things about them. From what I have seen, the spacer should sit at the bottom of the strut rather than the top. Did you get the quick lift loaded? The ones that come with replacement coil overs? I crawled under and took a look at mine and I couldn't find any spacer that would level out the truck. Front end still sits stock. You can see the rake plain as day. Try out the different settings to. If I remember correctly the dial turned all of the way counter clockwise is 1, clockwise 9. 9 being the firmest setting. I keep mine set at 9 even on the highway. I just like the way it rides. But then again I don't have the adjustable rear so yours will probably ride a lot different.

I picked up the loaded so I wouldn't have to mess with the coil. Laziness I guess. Haha. And I'll check into it. This is the set I grabbed for $403 after a $120 rebate. I have the other strut but its just not in the pic.
