Pulled the FORD emblem off tonight. Had just finished the base coat when a light bulb in my head went off. BED LINER! I have some wounded soldier bed liner spray cans left over from my running boards so decided to liner the emblem. Figured worse comes to worse I buy a new emblem if I don't like it. So far, I think it came out pretty good. I'll have to see it in day light to make my final decision, but I like it....and I haven't seen it done before so that should offset my Rockstars. And yes, I'll be redoing my F150 emblems too now.

I noticed the emblem's plastic protection film was bubbling a little so I spent about an hour with a razor peeling the whole thing off. Unfortunately, it does not come off in one sweep. Here's a shot after a lazy sanding.

After the bed liner

I like the idea of an aal but I can barely drag deer into the bed at the stock 4x4 height!

I like it. Matches the wheels and bed. I might spray some gloss black over the top of it to make it a little darker. I think all the emblems like this will look good.

Might try a bit of matte clear to give it some depth without adding any shine.

Do you remember the dimensions for your grill badge? I'd like to order something unique to put there

Billetbadges.com

They already have the dimensions for you and have made a few.
