Exactly. I've never understood the "not my job" mentality. Absolutely nothing in this world makes you better than anyone else. Doesn't matter to me if you're the janitor or the CEO, you'll get equal respect from me.

Well, was missing the old truck today so I ran a CARFAX on it to see where it ended up. It didn't get far from Abilene as it's in Merkel, Texas. It was listed as for sale on Arrow Ford's lot for a little over a month before it was sold. Now, why on earth did I think that was worth $40 to find out? Hahaha

Also had the itch to modify, so I ordered the OBD-II adaptor to start messing with Forscan.

Ha, that's hilarious. I lived in Merkel for about 6 years before I moved to DFW. I wonder if I know the buyer.

Will do. It should be here tomorrow, gotta love Amazon Prime shipping. Lol. This is a foreign concept to me as well, but at least the 15+ crowd has put together a google doc showing the different changes to make to achieve a certain result. Not sure about the 09-14 crowd.

Lol. I still can't believe I actually did that. I kinda want to go drive around, find the truck, and meet whoever bought it. Probably never will, but it'd be interesting to go meet them. Lol. Then again, I may not want to see the changes they make to it, might make me cringe and want to buy it back even more. Haha. What do you think the odds are that the dealer had all the issues fixed before selling it?

Haha. That's exactly what I thought. Could they sell it with a bad wheel bearing and bad idler pulley though? Lol. The pulley was just noisy, the bearing not so much... The oil and exhaust leaks definitely would get left, I'm sure they didn't put new 35's on it either. I'm also curious how much it sold for. For some reason I imagine $12,000-$14,000. The Carfax said suggested retail was $12,200, that wasn't including all the add ons. Something else interesting, the carfax showed no wrecks. It was in two, but cops were only called on one (bad, I know), I thought if there was a police report of an accident that it'd show on the carfax? It didn't need more than bumper repairs in either accident, the other cars, well... Lol

The carfax doesn't always tell all. My buddy has been in 3 wrecks in his 97' F150, none of which show up on the carfax. I just use it mainly to see how many owners it's had and to see if the mileage adds up.
