I just want it to look nice. It's my daily driver but as of right now I live on base and I'm maybe 4 minutes from our shop. Even when I move off base it'll only be 10 or 15 minute commute back and forth so gas mileage isn't a big concern. My last truck was 2wd and I couldn't lift it. So I bought an fx4 just so I could lift it and play around in the mud every once in a while.
There's 3 ways for the lifts-
1. Leveling kit
2. Suspension lift (Coilovers)
3. "True" Suspension lift (4"+)
Each one has their advantages. There's several threads on all of them. There's a couple vendors on here that you can look up in the Vendor Showcase. Take a look at a couple of the wheel offset threads. Lots of knowledge on whatever you might want to know.

I already bought the lift. I went with a 6". I just like to see what people think and how they would build it. Just another point of view on it. I see everyone with 20s on 35s but no one seems to have 17s anymore
I'm old school when it comes to wheels and tires. I like tall and skinny with more sidewall. The Duratracs seem to do pretty good and come in a P-rated size/weight. There's a lot of tires for different purposes. Most tires that are 34 and taller are LT rated which means more resistance getting off the line.
With a 6" lift, you'll have a lot of upper size options though. There's some people on here running 37's, but I'm not sure on which rim. Look into ADD for plates for underneath. There's a few others too. Don't want to break anything. Lol.
