More work from Saturday. Picked up some aluminum stock from Home Depot
Built a bracket for the Kicker sub.
It's not going to win any beauty contests but it's solid. Used a piece of flat stock and bent it a vice with a hammer to shape an extinguisher bracket.
Amazon special pull tab for the driver side rear seat. Much easier to to open than the little loop Ford supplied. Only difficult part was getting the metal tab to lock onto the OEM pin. Ended up giving it a love tap with a hammer and brass drift.
Bully sport pedals, Found that my foot slid on the gas pedal occasionally and did not care for it. These are thru bolted on - not just sticky padded with a bent tab.

Nice little bracket for the fire extinguisher, but these days i never fit the old type to vehicles, too big, heavy and don't last long enough for automotive use. I use the Element fire extinguisher instead and throw it in the emergency/recovery box. Doesn't need recharging/checking, doesn't blast fluids (on fire) when directed at them etc. etc.
Spot it near the bottom of the pic, looks like a road flare.

And I work with the assistant chief of a local fire fighting company! You'd think he'd've suggested something like this after he used up the big 5 pounder in the company vehicle last year helping a random motorist on the expressway near work.

Neither did i until i saw a Jay Lenos video several years ago, they seem really good and perfectly suited to vehicles.

8/3/22:
Finally hooked up the power and signal for the two gauges. Lots of CANBUS in this truck made it difficult to find things. In the end the dimmer is hooked up to the same switched +12 so they're always on the "dim" setting. Fished the pressure sensor through the boot by the pedals.
Pulled, cleaned, polished, and reinstalled the TB.
8/4/22:
Installed an S&B CAI. we'll see how it works on Saturday. Taking a short trip out of state.

Let me know what PSI your oil gauge reads at full hot idle please, and what oil you're using.

Pressures: 30Psi cruise locked between 70-75 on the pike. Drive consisted of county roads, interstates, Jersey Parkway, and both NJ and PA pikes. 2 hours later after I parked it was between the 12 and 14Psi mark.
My sensor is mounted in one of Glowshift's (Yay Jersey! ) sandwich adapters (22mm x 1.5). Gauge itself is a 0 to 100Psi Glowshift unit.

Pressure at a vehicle speed doesn't help much as it's based on engine speed, not vehicle speed - When you say sandwich adapter, you're talking at the oil filter?
Assuming that's an accurate enough reading, you're saying that hot idle pressure (in park or neutral) is 12 to 14?
Minimum hot idle pressure for the Coyote is 15PSI.

Yep, oil filter. Pull filter, put this little bugger on with whatever sensor(s) you want, plug unused holes, then put filter back on: https://www.glowshiftdirect.com/oil-...mm-1-5-thread/
I don't like the newer Allen head plugs they're using (easy to strip out) but they fit better than the older bolt style plugs. Especially on tight clearances like what I saw on my Coyote with factory oil cooler tubes running right on top of the filter.
So book says 15, I'm seeing lets call it 13 - eh, not pinpoint accurate but close enough.
Then again anything is better than the OEM gauge of Nothing here, Nominal, You done broke something.
Parked and idling. 500-ish RPM.

Heh, close enough for gov. work?
Yeah, it may or may not be accurate - but i do have a direction i'm heading in here; oil viscosity is what promotes oil pressure and this engine arguably should be running on 5w30. If you switched to that, your hot idle oil pressure will come back into spec.
I also wanted to stress that i meant *minimum* pressure is 15, like, that's it's low limit, should go lower, you run into lubrication issues when you run below an engines designed oil pressure.
Would i just need the gauge and that plate? i'm really not too au fait with fitting pressure gauges, it's something my Dad did many moons ago and hasn't really been needed/important since then.
