Yes, I have considered that. I've seen several YouTube videos on it and it seems simple enough. I'm probably going to try that next. My wife and I are going to a few Braves games next week and I will try it after we get back. This week has been new lights for my AMP steps and I had my windshield replaced yesterday. Today, I'm in the hunt for an inspection sticker.

I don't know a lot about hydrodipping. How does it hold up? Might be an answer to my door pull woes with vinyl.

After you hydrodip the part and let it dry, you spray a few coats of clear over it so it will last for a while.

Soooooo.... I needed a new inspection sticker. Yesterday I went to get one from the place I take all my cars. This is the first one I've needed for my truck and I was worried about my tint. Well, that wasn't the issue. This *** pulled out a tape measure to see how far past the fenders my tires stuck out. Seriously?!?! it can't be more than an inch. After some discussion, I decided to try a different place. I told him that I can go back home, put the stock wheels on, and go back to get the inspection sticker. He said that would be a good idea. So, I said how is that any different than the way its sitting now because I'll just go back home and put my wheels back on and accomplish the same thing. He was being an *** about the whole thing. So, I took it a step further and asked how much does it cost if I brought him my stock wheels to swap. He said $10. He then said he couldn't do it because he knows why I'm doing it. I then said...you see how much sense this all makes? I told him don't worry about it. Luckily there's another inspection station two doors down and I went there to do it. I understand the law is the law but damn!

That guy sounds like a real Pecker Head! How often do you have to inspect? Yearly?

I hear that the first year they did away with our inspection except for emissions, the guy at the state inspection facility was pissy, stating I could have failed you for this and that but we can't do that anymore. I just yes yes yes him to death and laughed under my breath.

We have the option of a one year tag or two year tag. The place that was willing to do it for me only had the one year tag left.

They've been talking about doing away with ours. I hope they do it soon. It's a damn money racket.

Realistically inspections should be for vehicles of a certain age.
