Yeah he e-mailed me today and told me the set you bought off ebay they had sitting on a shelf in the back and that was the only set they had. He told me he saw my order in today and contacted Hella and they said they have a set coming from Germany for me and he could ship by the end of the week. Hopefully your set wasn't sitting on the shelf for a reason (AKA for your leaking issue). I saw you were looking at getting an exhaust. I have the Borla catback exhaust on my truck and I gotta say its by far the best I've heard yet. It screams when you get on it and has no drone and can barely hear it during normal driving. Just thought I would throw that out there for ya. Also Line-X'ing the bumpers would be pretty sweet. I'm looking for a DVD head unit next! Why did I ever start modding this truck??? Never ends!

I hear ya man it's like a vicious cycle with this mod thing , I find that the best part is the DIY thing when you step back and look at your job ,so far all my mods have been made by me minus this muffler thing and the line x .

I'm glad you got a hold of the guy and that your getting your hellas straight up from the tree in Germany

Thanks for looking out for me on respect to the muffler, borla is hands down the best!! unfortunately for me borla does not make a kit for the 4.2 so I gotta choose what's out there the best way possible, I got some stuff that i need to sell and that money will go into the exhaust and possibly the intake.

Truthfully.. my next choice was Magnaflow! Flowmaster IMO sounds like someones throwing tin cans up in your exhaust. Has the tiniest sound I've ever heard! Sounds cheap! Up to you though.

Ok... so it's been a while since last mod so I took a chance and decided it was time to paint my wiper cowls, it;s a shame that the rubber braces at the edges of the cowl were so toasted with the florida sun that I could not saved them if my life depended on it!!

Here's a couple of pictures while I wait to install due to the blazing temperatures outside. The first picture is a comparison between original and painted one, the second is of the sand paper I used (1200) and no the heineken is not needed for the job and this is not a promotion!!. Third picture is the final result (painted with krylon fat black).

Today I had a chance to work on my truck and since I was looking for an enclosed air box but did not like the ones offered for my 4.2, I decided to go cheap so I did the gotts mod with a K&N filter, the pvc pipe is a little visible but not too bad, the difference when driving is there, not amazing but I'm happy and it was cheap, combined with a performance muffler and it might get better, thinking of borla and I got me a tip from mbrp.

Thanks buddy^^,I took her fishing today after the muffler install and forgot to bring the camera, I always have had a passion for fishing and now FORD trucks lol.

The muffler is very quiet, but it sounds great when you start the engine and it has a deep mellow sound inside the cab , I like it and I could notice a slight difference in acceleration.I will post some pictures tomorrow.

Looks AWESOME man! Love the blacked out look. Would never fly on my truck though.. I just ordered the 2" Bilstein suspension front leveling kit for my truck!!! I'm so pumped!! Also ordering 34" BFG All Terrain KOs to fill in the gaps! And to make my day even better... Yellow and Blue lighting called informing me my Hella lights should arrive at my doorstep Friday or Monday. I also ordered the Lariat Grille to top it all off! Many pics coming soon!! BTW! How you liking your terra grapplers? I can't decide between BFGs or Terra grapplers. I would really like to get trail grapplers but don't think i can put up with the road noise! haha!
