So I have driven Silverados my entire life. But since Chevy hates building/selling crew cabs for some reason, I started looking at Ford and Dodge. I came across this beauty about a month or two ago. 2016 F150 XLT Sport with Katskin leather seats. After a good detail and some minor upgrades she's really starting to come together. So far I have....
Blacked out the badges
Debadged eco boost and 4x4 sport decal
Added a new exhaust tip
Installed a 2" level
Installed 2" hub centric spacers
Ditched the air dam
New black lugs nuts
Stubby Antenna
Bed cover
Installed LED low beams
Generic mud flaps
Window Tint
EZ lift tail gate strut
Coming soon...
New exhaust system
Cold air intake
New mirror caps are on.

I highly recommend the towing mirrors. I ended up having to order my truck because I couldn't find the truck I wanted with towing mirrors. Once you get used to them and realize how much more you can see with them, you can never go back to standard mirrors. And they look awesome, IMHO.
I ended up dipping them. I’ve dipped badges on all my trucks and they seem to hold of great.
that’s what I was thinking, since my truck is already black I’m not sure I want to go full black or more gunmetal to add contrast... best thing about plastidip... if you don’t like it, peel it off. Unfortunately that may need to wait till the spring, not sure I wanna be out dipping in under 30* also not sure how well it will hold

I think you'd be fine if you heated the surface up prior and between coats with a heat gun. The dip dries pretty quick between coats.

valid point wasn’t really referring to the platidip application so much as me freezing my *** off... and we just added 18”+ so I got other things to deal with haha
