Thanks! I can’t wait either! Next actual progress will be getting the truck registered...but with the state of things lately all the Maine DMVs are closed “until further notice”

Well, I got an email back from the dmv that I can send proof of ownership via email so I’m going to ASAP! These projects will all be slow as I only work 40 hours a week and can’t afford much more than rent, food, loan and credit card payments and nicotine. Tacoma needs tires for inspection soon and I’m trying to scrape up the money for all terrains...Every payday I say “I’ll have a little left over next payday” but my bank account is empty by the next payday. Might have to start a part time job too...Luckily the F-150 and bike are owned in full. The Tacoma, not so much.

Been a while since I updated this. Got the title from the DMV, replaced the battery, and temporarily patched the majority of the exhaust manifold crack. Currently trying to find a shop willing to replace the manifold. On the Tacoma side of things, I scored a set of used tires for $40. Gotta get them mounted to the wheels before inspection. In terms of the bike, I got new final drive filler and drain plugs (installed the filler, will install the drain when I next change the gear oil), and got a seal for the driveshaft because it’s leaky. Replaced a leaking tappet cover as well. These vehicles will be the reason I go broke lol.

Next F-150 thing after manifold will likely be a new muffler, something not too aggressive as I want to keep this truck somewhat how my Pop would’ve but add my own flair. So maybe a flow master 50 series as it’s a little less aggressive than a 44 from what I understand. Also would like to level the front a bit. It’s got heavy towing springs in the rear so there’s a lot of rake. A ton. And it has brand new struts, so probably only 1.5-2” for a level. A bit of rake is fine but there’s a ton. Just want to reduce it, not completely level it.

Replaced the rear tint on the Tacoma with 5%. Previously 20% but on the regular cab I didn’t find it dark enough. Replaced the AC clutch and recharged the system in that truck too. AC Works perfectly now!

Nice to see the projects rolling steady. I'm not sure about your year F150, but my '99 and most F 2/350s I see come with blocks under the rear leaves from the factory.
Just an option if you wanted to level the back to the front instead of vice versa.

Im thinking of pulling mine when the truck is rolling

I believe there are blocks under mine, as well, but where I live, bigger is better and it’s a crime to lower a truck haha. I appreciate the suggestion, though!

Another problem has arisen...I think the evap hose came undone on top of the gas tank but I’m not certain. Filled the tank the other day and it started pouring out the top of the tank when I overfilled it, instead of auto-shutting off the pump...? Smells a little like gas and I have a “check fuel cap” message on the dash...

Not a whole lot has changed but I did add a back up camera with the screen integrated into the rearview mirror! Works like a charm and I can’t believe I didn’t do it sooner!

Default Awesome!

Good luck with everything! I’ll definitely be following this thread!!! There’s nothing like pops truck! I’ll never forget all the memories spent working on vehicles with both of my grandads and I pray they never get taken from me but if and when they do I wanna do a fummins build with an f150. I know it’s weird but weirder stuff has been successful. That way I have a piece of both trucks in one!
