I take the easy way out...tape off around the weights and paint them with matte black Dupli Color in the touch up bottles. Quick and easy if you don’t wanna mess with rebalancing.

I'm supposed to start installing the exhaust on Tuesday night. Having access to a two post lift should make it a lot easier. Excited to see how this turns out. May make another trip to the dyno for comparison to the stock run I did when I first got the truck.

I installed the PanaVise and ProClip for my iPhone and my Wife said that she doesn't like and that that it makes it look cheap. As much as I want to like it I think I agree with her. I understand why PanaVise designed it to mount where they did for optimum visibility but I don't really care for after installing it. Ideally something in front of and a little bit higher than the Pro Trailer Backup Assist **** would be ideal I think since I don't need it to back up a trailer.

I've been looking for aftermarket calipers that will work with my electronic rear parking brakes but no luck. Even sent Wilwood an email but never got a response back. They may have called but I get so many cold calls working in IT that I only answer the phone if its in my address book or I'm expecting it. I may need to give them a call.

Still have to figure out what I am going to do for the 2/4 ish drop.

I’d have to take it apart and take pics to even remember how I did it but this is a modified F250 Panavise base with wired ProClip holder. I changed a few angles on the base and mounted it with 2 new screws behind the panel the trailer back up **** is mounted in. I still have easy access to the e-locker **** but like you said, I don’t need the other **** to back up a trailer.
At any rate...the location you describe is exactly where it wound up.

I just shut my phone up in the console when I am driving. Out of sight, out of mind. The citation and insurance hit can be bad.

Does the G stand for Grumpy? Some people use their phone for navigation, music, Android Auto, Apple Car play etc. It's 2018 UncleGrumpy, phones aren't just for making phone calls.

You are correct and the fine is the same if you are making a phone call, checking maps, selecting a playlist, etc. Doing anything on your phone is prohibited by law while driving. MOF, you can get a citation for 'Distracted Driving' by doing almost anything while driving, that distracts your driving.

Summers is right. The phone is mounted so it’s hands free. What’s the issue? I don’t know anywhere it’s not legal to have it in a mount. With the amount of people out there that don’t even use their vehicles Bluetooth or still actually hold their phone, it doesn’t make sense to get down on someone with a mount. Especially in this case. It’s an iPhone and Siri is still fully functional. I had voice activated capabilities with my android too. So what exactly is the problem?

I may need to see if I can hack a mount into working for what I want. Should be easy enough.

Tonight we removed the Y pipe and everything behind it. All that is left to remove are the exhaust manifolds and with any luck we will be able to get those done tomorrow night.
