Default The Beast! (Build Thread)

Well I figured I'd start a thread on my 2004 FX4 Supercab. Aptly titled the beast due to the fact that its not the prettiest truck out there. It's used primarily as a work truck. I debated starting this thread due to the fact that its frigging freezing here, and I don't have a garage, so most of my work won't happen till the spring/summer. But I have tons of ideas and some work already done so I kind of need a place to put them down.

Mods done before I found this forum:

3" level.
18" eagle rims
325/60/18 Procomp Extreme AT's
Window vent shades

Since then I have:

Installed Edge Evo tuner
Installed Blue Led lights to the interior
Night shaded my tails
Installed Pioneer 3200 USB CD player
Extang Tonneau cover

Future plans:
Install 1-2" lift in rear... I'm not happy with the stance
Sell off pioneer and add nav system.. But I want a 1 din unit that folds out
Black headlights... Either buy or paint. (Got a line on a pair a couple hours away)
Nightshade my fogs
Pull factory sub and install 2 10" JL audio subs (have subs already)
Install MTX 6.5 components in doors. (Already have)
Light bar in the front somehow... (Behind grill maybe)
New grille?
Dual exhaust with black tips
New tires in fall 35/12.5/18

I'm going for a minimal chrome look... , and black steps. Maybe try plasti dipping the emblems and possibly the rims.

Would really like a bull/light bar but can't give up the tow hooks...

Suggestions?

Edit: also have changed spark plugs, and now have COPS waiting. Have also changed the tranny

buy a bull bar, and bring it to a welder with the tow hooks as well. He should be able to weld the tow hooks to the bull bar brackets, which go where the tow hooks were. Try and get him to brace the bar too, ive seen bull bars do more damage than a stock bumper. And then, when a deer jumps in front of your truck, you can be safe and just plow him instead of swerving into a tree!

Explain "brace the bullbar". Because its just thin metal. If you're saying run a bar behind it or something. Might as well just go get some bigger tubing bent and make something EXACTLY how you want it up front.

Nice looking truck so far. I'll have to keep my eye out for your truck around Lloyd.

If I get my headlights, I plan on night shading the fogs too....

yeah don't think that's an option.......most of the brackets are just thin plates

Will be going in tomorrow, have already started working on an idea I had, which is why I went with the motorized screen... More to come...
