I actually like the two tone as it’s posted above, I just don’t like it with chrome wheels and accents but you already took care of that, lol

I'm about ready to say screw it and spend the cash to order a really nice one already painted to match.

It's not off the table yet, just frustrated I suppose.

 

So, I might go a complete different direction.

Talked to a couple vinyl wrap shops and got quotes from $750-1100 for the black 2 tone. I'm not paying that and unfortunately I'm not good enough to do a project that big with vinyl. Paint wise, even doing just the sides of the topper in RR with 0% of it matching perfectly will still run around $7-800.

Trying to envision running the black topper as is, but just not sure I'll be happy with that. Not sure what to do.

I know that I'm paying for the experience when it comes to wraps and paint but that doesn't make that pill any easier to swallow.

It might be time to shift gears and focus on other things for the truck. Especially since a topper is a want, not a need.

 

Yikes I can see $750 for the vinyl, but $1K is crazy.

 

Kinda of why I have never bought a 8" cluster for my truck, not even something I really care to upgrade, especially at $800 or so. Never really interested me. I would never pay 1k for vinyl, so I hear you.
