The bumper looks really good. A raptor rear bumper would be a good match for it.
Also do you plan on doing anything with the tow hook shackles? They sit really low compared to the bumper.
Surprisingly enough my wife asked if I was going to get the rear bumper to match. I've been casually watching ebay for a raptor bumper that's too cheap to pass up. I'd have to have it PTM and then cut out the holes for the SSC1's so I'm not sure I'm that dedicated yet.
Good question, I haven't even seen it in daylight yet but most likely I'll pull them off since they appear to hang down so low in the pictures.
Not the best pics, but at least they are better than garage closeups. Few things I'll be changing up.
1. As much as I like the black, it's going for powder coat after the first of the year.
2. The Rough Country hooks do hang down a little father than I like so I'm going to pull them off and see how it looks. I may put the factory hooks back on.
3. I'm not thrilled with the gap from the single row light in the opening. I'm going to build another set of brackets to see if I can put both light bars in the opening.
I like it, I actually like it how it is, but will be really curious after it’s color matched.
if powder coating it is too red, at least taming that down will be easier…could vinyl wrap some parts with a black or grey.
for the light bar, I like it, only thing I’d think would look better/different would cost a lot, would be putting 4 SS3 in there, 2 on each side, and leave a small hole in the center similar to the ecoboosts.
but I like the bar and the fogs, it’s not too much.
That looks great from all angles! Is there enough room in bumper opening for both rows of lights?
Ruby Red powder coat?
They'll both fit. The first set of brackets I made didn't allow for enough adjustment so I'm going to make another set that will set the light bars back about 1/4" from where the amber one sits to let me aim them better.
Yea, it should match the ruby red really close.

I considered doing just the outside portions in red but I figured I'd do all of it at once and if it's too much, I'll go back and do the center black. The skid plate and fog light openings will still be black so hoping it comes out what I have in mind.
There is a guy that makes links for the SS3's, 9 of them linked together is roughly 32". I really thought about going that route. The amber light bar just doesn't put out as much distance lighting as the clear lenses and I already miss that. I could always put it back behind the grille. The other thing about mounting one on top is there isn't a big lip on the bumper so I'm not sure a straight bar will fit. The new DD SS6 will be linkable and I could curve that. Not sure, I'll have to play with a few ideas.
