Default 2018 build configuration

Hello all, hope I'm posting this in the right spot,

So I live overseas and i recently purchased an F-150, to be delivered to me late October 2018. So, it's not built yet...

I have elected the following options on it:
XLT
Super Crew
5 1/2 bed
2.7 Eco
4X4
302A package
XLT Sport Aperance
FX4 Package
Spray in bed liner
Box link
3.73 Gear ratio
Inflatable second row seat belts

Grand total = $41,253.50

I'm planning on doing some towing in the future, small boat/jet ski, flat bed trailer, small camper. Its going to be my daily drive vehicle and the one I'll use for road trips. I was thinking about adding the Twin Panel sunroof, not sure yet. anyways, what do you guys think? am i missing something? Should I be doing something different?

I don't see a towing package in your list.. It does include a cool LED in on the tailgate that lights up the trailer ball so you can see it with the backup camera at night. Also a transmission cooler, a pretty good Idea IMO, and the pro backup thingy. That takes a loot of setup so I question it's real value seem like a gimmick.

I optioned the tailgate step and side LED mirrors. They are not horribly expensive and add a nice touch to the truck.

So, if you had to get one upgrade, you would get the trailer tow package VS the sunroof? i haven't really thought about the trailer tow package honestly, specially with the smaller engine.

Wow that really a tought question. The sunroof is in your face all the time, where the towing package you never see for the most part. I do like sunroofs however it does seem at least from reading the threads here the twin panel can be a little bit problematic, those might just be outliers though.

A sunroof isn't available in the model I chose so I never considered it.

Yeah, it's literally the thousand dollar question... Bahahha. Yeah I read the posts about sunroofs, some have problems but most love it. Still unsure. Maybe I'll keep it as is. I have a bit to decide still.

Today you tow a small camper, tomorrow you tow a medium size camper. Every time. I have been up and down, back and forth, all my life. The extra towing goodies are needed, even with a small camper, at highway speed, up and down hills, curves, STOPPING. As soon as you get out on the highway with a camper you are going to wish you had tow mirrors, not to mention when you are backing into a tight spot. Yes, you need the tranny cooler too, especially during warm or hot weather, and when else are you camping ? I could go on and on about towing. I have done it all my life. What good is the sky light ? So you can see the sky ? So the cab stays warmer ? So birds can poo on the seats ? I don't know about your crew, but pollen here is a huge deal and we don't want it in our vehicles. We keep the windows shut tight and make good use of the cabin air filter from February thru Rocktober.

im still up in the air about adding anything else to the truck build. it wont start getting built for another few weeks at least, maybe late june. if the truck doesnt drop in price, i wont add anything else but i will say that adding the two package is temping more than the sunroof even if i think the sunroof is cool. i have to agree with UncleG about the usefulness of it. i wouldnt know right now... i drive a POS vehicle that we wont discuss here........
