2018 build configuration
Hello all, hope I'm posting this in the right spot,
So I live overseas and i recently purchased an F-150, to be delivered to me late October 2018. So, it's not built yet...
I have elected the following options on it:
XLT
Super Crew
5 1/2 bed
2.7 Eco
4X4
302A package
XLT Sport Aperance
FX4 Package
Spray in bed liner
Box link
3.73 Gear ratio
Inflatable second row seat belts
Grand total = $41,253.50
I'm planning on doing some towing in the future, small boat/jet ski, flat bed trailer, small camper. Its going to be my daily drive vehicle and the one I'll use for road trips. I was thinking about adding the Twin Panel sunroof, not sure yet. anyways, what do you guys think? am i missing something? Should I be doing something different?

I optioned the tailgate step and side LED mirrors. They are not horribly expensive and add a nice touch to the truck.

A sunroof isn't available in the model I chose so I never considered it.

Yeah, it's literally the thousand dollar question... Bahahha. Yeah I read the posts about sunroofs, some have problems but most love it. Still unsure. Maybe I'll keep it as is. I have a bit to decide still.

Today you tow a small camper, tomorrow you tow a medium size camper. Every time. I have been up and down, back and forth, all my life. The extra towing goodies are needed, even with a small camper, at highway speed, up and down hills, curves, STOPPING. As soon as you get out on the highway with a camper you are going to wish you had tow mirrors, not to mention when you are backing into a tight spot. Yes, you need the tranny cooler too, especially during warm or hot weather, and when else are you camping ? I could go on and on about towing. I have done it all my life. What good is the sky light ? So you can see the sky ? So the cab stays warmer ? So birds can poo on the seats ? I don't know about your crew, but pollen here is a huge deal and we don't want it in our vehicles. We keep the windows shut tight and make good use of the cabin air filter from February thru Rocktober.
