I rotated the tires in a modified X and had the shop throw in 1" blocks in the rear. My last rear measurement, after the leaf install, was 39.875, so if the blocks added a true 1", I'm at 40.875. It felt great driving home... for some reason, better that when I dropped it off. There was a little creaking previously, and that's gone. It might just be because everything's just been retorqued. I'll take another measurement at the wheel well sometime soon.

I measured the wheel wells again today. Here is an updated table, with averages of left & right measurements on the last line:

Mods..................Front.....Rear......Rake
Stock.................37.125....39.75.....2.625
+ 2" spacer, Decked...38.75.... 39.0625...0.3125
+ wheels & tires .....40.1875...40.25.....0.0625
+ bumper & cargo......39.75.....39.5625..-0.1875
+ AAL, - stock block..39.75.....39.875....0.125
+1" block.............39.625....41.031....1.406

I realized that in the previous post, I was comparing measurements to stock, which doesn't take into account tire height. I'm only 1.8" above my lowest measurement after wheels and tires, so I'm definitely within the range of the Bilsteins. I'll edit that post to avoid confusion.

This will be my last height mod and measurement, I expect, until my struts need replacing.

Nice Truck!

I ordered my ARE Z-Series a few weeks ago. My dealer had a Revo for display, but returned it to ARE. Indicated that they did not want to sell that model. Not sure why.

I ended up pulling my deposit back. ARE was having a hard time getting the rear glass adhesive right, apparently. It sounds like they still haven't figured it out.

I changed out the OEM wiper blades for Bosch Icons. I had them on my last vehicle, and they worked awesome.

I'm overdue for a cabin air filter change. I have a Cleenaire CAF79 activated charcoal filter ready to go in... I just need to find a few minutes to get it done.

I changed out the cabin filter for the first time. The Platinum wood trim piece is a pain to remove. The epoxy finish is thin and cracks easily. I chipped it on the first try, but it's covered by the rubber tray, so I'm going to try to forget it happened.

The OEM filter didn't look too bad when I removed it.

The charcoal filter I installed has no airflow orientation. Here's the "after" photo:

I got Waze v4.37 working through AppLink, so I removed my phone mount from the dash. I'll be leaving the cable for guest charging, probably, and I'll start putting my phone in the cubby in front of of the console.

Default Oil change

Time for an oil change. IOLM is down to 4%. I just came inside to let it drain for a bit.

Yesterday, I ordered the L-track parts for a tie-down project I've had in mind for a year or more. I'm putting a 4' track at the front of the bed. More on that later.

EDIT: I mangled the old filter pretty bad taking it off. I was worried it wasn't going to come off. I only install them hand-tight, so I don't know what the problem was. I also decided I'm just going to let it drain for a couple of hours. It's got a pretty steady drip going. I've got nowhere to be, anyway.

I finally got around to installing L-track at the front of the bed. I started thinking about this over a year ago and posted about it in this thread. It required drilling 9 holes in the bed, and I deliberated on it for about a month before I took the plunge. I'm pleased with how it came out. The photo is grainy, but lighting isn't that great out in the garage at the moment.

I put more details in the thread linked above.
