that one, out the door installed with tax etc was 2,700. But it's the top of the line ARE (z-series) with almost every option. They start at about 1800 if you don't need the frameless windows and electronic lock which is what I was going to do but then changed my mind at the last second as I open and close the back 8-10 times a day, I knew I'd likely leave it unlocked at some point and just recently had stuff stolen from another car.

Got the interior stripped last night and ran RCAs and power wire. Got held up trying to figure out how to get it through the firewall on the passenger side, I think I have a solution an will attack again today.

Ready to start sound deadening the floor (cld, ccf & Mlv). For anyone that has done the floor, did you leave the factory stuff in place? I'm assuming it has some stiffening value for the floor pan too.

Oh, and f**k the 4x4 module, what a pain in the *** to get the rear bolt.

Got some sound deadening done, would have liked to have gotten more coverage but I guess I didn't buy enough material. The luxury liner is too thick for the front of the cab so I'll have to find something thinner.

carpet and front seats are back in and the amp rack is all wired up (minus speaker wires)

Door speakers are in (Stereo Integrity TM 65s), in case anyone was wondering, you could fit 8" no problem. I made a second set of adapters for my Peerless SLS8 midbasses which are well over 3" deep IIRC.

Tweeters are in the pillars. This completes phase 1. In the next couple of weeks or months I'll get started on putting the 4" midranges in the pillars and swap the 6.5s in the doors out for the 8's.
