No good night shots yet but finally got my 20" single row light bar installed behind the grille and 2 lights on the A pillar using SDHQ mounts. Ended up mounting switches in the cuphoder on the transmission hump since I have the bench seat. Worked really well I think. Need to get these things aimed properly yet but I love how it turned out. Good friend of mine helped get this worked out since I'm a moron with wiring lol

Looks really good. Wish I had half the time you do to work on the truck, lol

Love it man! How do you like the light placement on the a-pillars? Been thinking about moving my XL80's up there but kinda worried about reflection off the hood and overall loss of performance from the light because of the hood of the truck. Sometimes I feel like my lights are too low in the fog pockets.

I can't really answer your question yet. Only been up there 2 days and I haven't had a chance to aim them properly. Currently they are pointed low so I've got some hood reflection for sure. Hoping it isn't too annoying once they are aimed a little higher. We will see, I may be in the market for flat black vinyl in the future lol.

The light bar really fills out everything right in front of me so that's good. I'll report back after aiming them and testing them on the trail in Utah in a few weeks

Not exactly any updates on the truck but I guess I did add a new driveshaft during my trip to Utah. I may also be in need of a new RCI transfer case skid and I definitely need to paint skids/sliders again.

Utah trip report can be found here: https://www.f150forum.com/f34/midwes...7/#post5291623

Awesome pictures. Any shots of how the light bar works behind the grill at night? Might add one to mine.

unfortunately I don't have one that displays effectiveness. I just have this. I will say that this lightbar and the A pillar lights are effective to light up the trail. My lights aren't great in terms of throw however. I will upgrade in the future but it is not a priority. These meet my needs.

This upcoming weekend I have a ton of work to accomplish on the truck in preparation for Colorado but this last weekend I lead a group of people from Midwest Overlanders on a trip through South Central Indiana. I planned the route and called it the Tour of Tulips. No wheeling per se but we had a TON of water crossings!

Also, if you want to find me on Instagram: overlandfx4

Here's some highlights from the Tour of Tulips:
