2016 2.7L FX4 Overland build
Hello from the Hoosier state! This is my first post.
About a month ago I traded in my 2012 Tacoma on a 2016 F-150 Supercab XL w/ the FX4 package and 2.7L ecoboost. I also got the 101A power equipment group and sport appearance package. I got the items I wanted for an adventure truck like a locker, skids (they're ok I guess) and rubber floors. The 101A package gave me the basic conveniences I like. So far I'm loving the truck and plan to set it up as a well balanced DD and overland travel vehicle. I figured before I do much to this rig I should go ahead and start a build thread.
I got it on some trails this past weekend my buddy built on his farm. It did quite well but I can't wait to ditch the street tires and get a bit of lift on it before running anything more intense. My plan is for 2.5" level in the front, 1" in the rear and 285s. Probably run Cooper STMAXX tires. Only things I've added so far is a Kobalt toolbox and some cosmetic items.
Who else has an overland focus for their F-150?

I'll use this post for my mod list:
COMPLETE
-Kobalt Toolbox
-Cosmetic stuff (no chrome lol!)
PLANNED MODS-Stage 1
2.5" Autospring level kit
3" rear block (this does 1" of lift over stock, correct?)
285/70r17 aggressive AT tires
Wheel spacers (maybe?)
Bumper mounted 20" light bar
After stage 1 is complete I want to add bumpers, sliders, winch, and perhaps a camper shell. For now I'm keeping all my camping gear in waterproof crates but I wouldn't mind building a sleeping platform, etc. Stage 1 mods are the bare minimum to accomplish everything I want to accomplish with this rig.

Added a few items over the past week. Mounted my axe and shovel to the tool box face. I have the 4xRAC mounts to put the Hi Lift on the bottom. Just haven't gotten that far yet. I also put on a set of 285/70r17 Cooper ATPs. They look much better. I'm kind of wishing I went a bit bigger though. Oh well. 33s are plenty!
